La entrega de premios tuvo lugar el 17 de diciembre, en un escenario virtual.<\/p>\n<p>Este evento se realiz\u00f3 en el marco del 9.no Sal\u00f3n del Cacao y Chocolate Colombiano, un festival nacional que se celebr\u00f3 del 25 al 28 de noviembre en Arauquita, Arauca, uno de los principales productores de cacao fino de Colombia.<\/p>\n<p>Con la cooperaci\u00f3n del International Chocolate Awards, el concurso fue organizado por el Gremio Cacaotero Araucano con el apoyo del Gobierno del Departamento de Arauca, el Gobierno Municipal de Arauquita, la Federaci\u00f3n Nacional de Cacaoteros FEDECACAO y las cooperativas de cacao Coomprocar y Coopcacao.<\/p>\n<p>Con el objetivo de promover el sector emergente del chocolate de origen fino en los pa\u00edses productores de cacao, el International Chocolate Awards ha creado un programa de concursos e iniciativas educativas, designadas como Programa de Apoyo a Pa\u00eds Productor de Cacao. El programa tiene sus ra\u00edces en 2015, con la creaci\u00f3n de la Competencia Nacional de Chocolate Peruano, a la que se sum\u00f3 la Competencia Regional Centroamericana en 2017, organizada en Nicaragua, El Salvador y Guatemala. Estos eventos se enfocan en el cacao de origen fino de pa\u00edses y regiones espec\u00edficas. Las Competencias de Apoyo a Pa\u00eds Productor de Cacao siguen las mismas reglas y protocolos que se utilizan para toda nuestra competencia, que son supervisados \u200b\u200bpor el IICCT y nuestro panel de expertos del Gran Jurado.<\/p>\n<p>Los objetivos del presente concurso han sido apoyar la excelencia en el sector chocolatero, generar competencia y dar valor agregado al cacao fino colombiano mediante el reconocimiento de chocolates de alta calidad y productos derivados para promover negocios sustentables e incrementar el consumo de chocolate en el mercado nacional. En este contexto, este primer concurso se realiz\u00f3 teniendo en cuenta los Protocolos del International Chocolate Awards y su sistema en linea (aunque no forma parte de su Serie Mundial).<\/p>\n<h3>Premios<\/h3>\n<p>Patrocinado por el International Chocolate Awards, la competencia utiliz\u00f3 el sistema de evaluaci\u00f3n y las reglas de International Chocolate Awards y fue adjudicada por miembros de nuestro Gran Jurado.
