From traditional bars to inspired flavour infusions, Peru\u2019s makers are setting a high standard both nationally and globally.<\/p><p>The winners were announced on <strong>19 July 2025 in Lima, Peru<\/strong> as part of the <em><strong>Sal\u00f3n del Cacao y Chocolate<\/strong><\/em> in person at a delightful ceremony.<\/p><p>Last year, the Peruvian competition became part of the World Final series of the International Chocolate Awards, and thus its winners are eligible to enter the World Final competition organized in October 2025. Just like last year, the competition saw a record number of entries again, from all over the country.<\/p><h4>Judges<\/h4><p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/enter.chocolateawards.com\/judges\/?comp_id=364982\">judging panel<\/a> included our regular judges from Peru, along with many of our IICCT alumni and other specialists from the local area and members of our international Grand Jury panel.<\/p><p>All judging was anonymized, including the Grand Jury final session, where Golds, Silver and Bronze prizes were awarded by private voting according to the Grand Jury rules.<\/p><p>See the list of Grand Jury Finalists <a href=\"https:\/\/enter.chocolateawards.com\/results\/10-concurso-nacional-de-chocolate-peruano-2025-grand-jury-finalists\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9cece52 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9cece52\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Competition Highlights<\/h4><p>The strongest products reflected not just exceptional cacao but an intimate understanding of flavour layering \u2013 especially through local ingredients like <em data-start=\"3697\" data-end=\"3746\">Sal de Maras, Lucuma, Camu Camu, Aguaje, Cedr\u00f3n<\/em>, and <em data-start=\"3752\" data-end=\"3768\">Zapallo Nativo<\/em>. While p<span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">roducers like Chocolater\u00eda Pumatiy and Renacer Chocolatier were recognised for exploring<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">\u00a0<\/span><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\" data-start=\"4082\" data-end=\"4103\">Theobroma speciosum<\/em><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">and<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">\u00a0<\/span><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\" data-start=\"4108\" data-end=\"4120\">subincanum<\/em><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">, pushing boundaries while staying rooted in Amazonian biodiversity.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Many winning products also reflect a dual commitment to local culinary heritage and fine chocolate innovation, such as<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">\u00a0<\/span><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\" data-start=\"4541\" data-end=\"4564\">Lomo Saltado ganaches<\/em><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">,<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">\u00a0<\/span><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\" data-start=\"4566\" data-end=\"4596\">Turr\u00f3n de Do\u00f1a Pepa pralines<\/em><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">, bean-to-bar ecosystem.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">With scores above 90, pure cacao expressions like Altoshima\u2019s 100% and ChocoMuseo\u2019s inclusion bars show that bold,
